We won Scottish Wedding Venue of the Year at the SME Family Run Business of the Year Awards in Glasgow!
What a fantastic night at the Scottish Business Awards. We are now an award-winning wedding venue having won Scottish Wedding Venue of the Year at the SME Family Run Business Awards for Best Family Run Businesses of the Year.
We could not have done it without Gillian, Lila, Hudsons Catering, Aberdeen Cleaning Solutions, andโฆall of our wonderful brides and grooms of course!
One of the great things about being named Scottish wedding venue of the year was that Logie Country House was up against stiff competition from Wedding Venues and Hotels all over Scotland. Stef & I did not expect to win either. We had hoped to be placed, but win! That meant that we could take the early train to Glasgow from Aberdeen with two of our friends who live on the estate (in what was once the potting shed, behind the walled garden. Now a beautiful period home). Emma looks after all of the horses on the estate. She will also be looking after our highland cows when we get around to buying them. Iain is our website creator and artist extraordinaire. They also married at Logie Country House a few years ago and their wedding photos feature throughout our website.
With our friends in tow, we did not scrimp on the Prosecco all the way down. We didnโt scrimp in the hotel when we arrived either. There was also a lovely bar in the awards hotel too. All in all a super fun experience topped off with winning a lovely award and giving a barely coherent thank you speech. We canโt wait for the next Scottish Wedding Venue of the Year awards night.
Hopefully we will be able to enter the next Scottish Wedding Venue of the Year SME awards when they restart in 2022 too! Award-winning wedding venue. Yay us!
